My card today features the beautiful Sale-a-Bration Host Stamp set, Calming Camellia, which I have stamped onto Crumb Cake cardstock with Night if Navy ink. Then using a Blender Pen I have coloured it with White ink on the petals, Old Olive on the leaves and Soft Suede on the stem.
I plan to make a set of these and some tags as well. They will make a beautiful gift.
The Calming Camellia stamp set is the Host set in the upcoming Sale-a-Bration catalogue (January 2022) and just soooooo beautiful! I think I need to add a few more “o” to that soooooooooo. It really is a stunning stamp set, and so I had to get it inky!
I have stamped it in Pale Papaya and combined it with some of the Heart and Home Designer Series Paper. Loving this colour as well, so pretty. The only way to get this set right now, is for you to join Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator, and if you are in Australia, I would love to have you in my Stampin family, so reach out to me for more info, or click the link. The set will be available from the 4th January 2022, with a party or personal order over $500, so start collecting those orders now, and contact me to ask about having an online cardmaking or scrapbook party with your friends and family. Happy stamping! Chris
My card today uses the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello stamp set, one that you may not have seen yet. It is a brand new one, available from the 4th January 2022, along with the pretty Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper.
I fell in love this with gorgeous little bird as soon as I saw it, and am so grateful that I am able to earn free goodies from Stampin’ Up! just for choosing to be a demonstrator and share what I love doing. And of course, it’s always fun to receive free things, and this is one that you can also receive for free during this coming January/February Sale-a-Bration.
Cute little birdie is coloured using the Stampin’ Up! Watercolour pencils, but with no water involved, just coloured with the pencils. Isn’t this just the most gorgeous image? I have also stamped on the inside of the card with a smaller image from the same set, also coloured with the pencils.
While this one is only available to demonstrators prior to the 4th January, if you really want it, you could join my Stampin’ Up! family of demonstrators, with all the benefits that go along with that. Of course there are always the items that are on the Last Chance List and in the Clearance Rack to craft with until January, and I will be posting up some projects using those soon. Happy stamping! Chris
As I always do on a Saturday during the spring and summer, I spent my day at the lake watching my son sail.
But there’s plenty of time while rigging and de-rigging and all the rest, for me to need something to do. So today I stamped some images from one of the stamp sets from the upcoming Sale-a-Bration catalogue (just one of many perks of being a demonstrator, is early access to products before they are released to the public), and took my watercolour pencils for some relaxing colouring.
Maybe tomorrow I will show you one of the finished projects.
If you are in Australia and would like a catalogue, send me an email, I have the right here and can send one out to you. email@example.com
This gorgeous stamp set was at the top of my wish list of Christmas stamp sets when the current mini catalogue came out. I will admit it hasn’t had enough use yet, so hopefully after this crazy busy weekend, I will be able to make some Christmas cards and other items for family and friends. This inspiration comes from Stampin’ Up! Enjoy!
They have definitely inspired me to have more of a play with this bundle next week. Happy stamping Chris
In my post yesterday I shared some cards using Designer Series Paper, including a bright and cheerful birthday card. Today’s card uses the reverse side if that same paper, from the Host DSP called Pattern Party.
The black and white flower patterned paper has simply been coloured using Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. Another quick and simple card.
I might pop a rhinestone or two on this one, just to add some bling!!
I am joining in with the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop this week, and we are using Real Red on our projects.
My ink colour pallete is rather limited at this stage, so I am having to rely on the cardstock I have on hand, and some bits and pieces that my lovely upline, Judy May, has sent to me, so that I can keep the creativity going.
Judy sent me this gorgeous heart and the “Happy” word, both in Real Red, so they were perfect to use for this Blog Hop.
The heart is Die cut using the absolutely gorgeous Be Mine Stitched Framelits dies, which I just love!! So gorgeous. Definitely on the Wish List!
Isn’t it pretty?
So many beautiful die available, I want them all.
I also love Embossing Folders and this one is another particularly lovely one, it’s called Layered Leaves. Another one on my Wish List!
If you would like to see what the rest of the Blog Hop team have made using Real Red this week, you can find the list here.
