Colour Challenge

I thought I would take part in the latest challenge from Just Add Ink today.  It’s been incredibly hot and humid here for weeks on end.  So after a morning swimming in the ocean and cooling off, I took some well needed crafting time this afternoon.
The colour challenge looks like this……

Since I no longer have Stampin’ Up! colours in my collection, I had to use similar ones from the Kaszazz range, and have used the gorgeous Heirloom papers for my card.  These are really not colours I would normally put together, but this is what I ended up with.

The stamps are Kaszazz as well, called Bicycle and Basket, and French Flair for the top of the Eiffel Tower in there.
Here is the inside of the card…..

I’m looking forward to some cooler weather coming in in a couple of days time, because even crafting isn’t that much fun in this heat.
Happy stamping!
Chris

Ornament Punch Flower

I have seen quite a lot of these flowers made in various ways, and thought it was time I had a go.
This particular flower is made using the Ornament Punch, and was really quite easy to make. I have also used a sponge dauber and some Pretty in Pink ink to add some colour to the edges of the petals.      I have some ideas as to what I would like to do with this which involves making more of them  – definitely addictive!  So watch this space for more flowers 🙂
And in the meantime, happy stamping (or flower making!).
