Clean and Simple (CAS) is a style of card that heaps of people find challenging, I think it’s those blank, open, white spaces. We feel as though we need to fill the spaces with something. Well, I do. I think I’m getting better at them though. I’m starting to enjoy the simplicity of a CAS design.
This card is a colour challenge for CAS Colours and Sketches.
I’ve used Distress Oxides to make a very quick and easy background with two of the colours, and the gorgeous Sizzix butterfly die. Too easy! And gorgeous colours!!
We are having an Autumn Challenge this fortnight at The Male Room.
And while the weather over in the Northern Hemisphere is cooling down for Autumn, here in Australia it is definitely feeling like Spring. Not quite warm enough for a swim at the beach, but I don’t think it will be long 🙂
My card for this challenge is a Clean and Simple (CAS) card, featuring one of my favourite Stampin’ Up! stamp sets….
Lovely As A Tree – yep, an oldie but a goodie, it has been around so long, and it is so very versatile. And the splodges of colour are a stamp from the Work of Art stamp set.
Lots of Autumn inspiration from the rest of the Design Team at The Male Room, so make sure you pop on over and have a look. And why not join in and share your Autumn projects with us.
