This week our Colour Creations Blog Hop is featuring Wild Wheat, and I have three different projects again this week. The first is a masculine card featuring the Wildlife Wonder stamp set, combined with a panel from the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper.
I have kept the card quite simple, just the panel of DSP on a cardbase of Basic Black, and the stamping straight onto the DSP. The ink colours used are Wild Wheat and Black, with a touch of Pebbled Path for the birds and at the base of the “wheat”.

My second project is a Scrappy Tag, meaning a tag using up some of those scraps and bits and pieces that I didn’t want to throw out. I have used the negative from a Die cut from a previous project, sponged in Wild Wheat ink, plus little bits and pieces of DSP. The butterfly is die cut from a scrap of Crushed Curry cardstock, and I’ve added some In Color Dots in Wild Wheat.
And my final project is another card, featuring the Zoo Crew DSP.
I have used Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the flowers on the black and white DSP, adding in some Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana to brighten the colours a little. And I’ve used the Sending Smiles stamp set and matching Sending Dies.

Wow, Christina – 3 quite different but equally delightful projects. I love your stamping directly on the DSP – you created a great scene. Your use of the Black & White sides of the Zoo Crew DSP is wonderful, especially your colouring of the little flowers. Very impressive. x

Oh wow, I love how you have made 3 great projects using different techniques in stamping, colouring and collage. It really shows how vast the Stampin’ Up! range is, Christina. Great way to showcase one colour!

Fabulous projects to showcase techniques to achieve different designs. The first card with that landscape scene looks like a painting even with the stamped wolf. But I love the Sending card and the elements you’ve put together on your card Chris.
