I do love a sketch when it comes to card making and scrap booking. The only issue I have is trying to narrow down all the ideas that spring to mind.
Today I am playing along with the sketch challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. And, I’ve made a Christmas Card!! It seems too early to be making Christmas cards, but perhaps I’m just putting it off.
I have used some pretty baubles which I found on a piece of gorgeous patterned paper from my stash. I cut the baubles out and sponged the edges for a little depth. Aren’t they pretty?
The strip of silver along the side and the silver in the ribbon hasn’t shown up sparkly like it does in real life, probably because we have had days and days of overcast and rainy weather which has made my photos turn out a little dull. Not complaining though, we need the rain here.
I hope you like my first Christmas card for the year, I wonder who I will send this one to.

Very pretty! Love those baubles! Thank you for playing along with us at CC&S – and for submitting for the design team!
The baubles are so pretty and have a lovely vintage feel to them! Thanks for sharing with us at CC&S!
That’s a clever way to use your designer paper! Thanks for sharing your card with us at CC&S! 🙂
Love the de-bossed background that you used. The cut out baubles look very elegant against it. Thanks for joining us for this week’s CC&S challenge.
Stunning hanging baubles, love the dimension and sparkle. FAB use of the sketch and lovely to see you applying for the DT at CC&S too. Hugs Bev x
As always Chris a fabulous card, you really have a flare for sketch designs.
Gorgeous paper choice and placement of your ornaments! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S and for applying for the DT.
