Cards for our Troops

A quick post today to share with you two cards I have made for Combat Cards.  Combat Cards is a wonderful organisation which sends handmade cards over to our troops who are serving overseas, so that they can send a card to their loved ones.

Having spent 5 years in the Armed Forces myself, I know what it feels like to be away from family and friends for an extended period of time, so it makes me happy to know that I am helping out in some small way.

My cards are made with some retired bits and pieces from an old Simply Scrappin’ Kit.  I need to use up some old stuff so that I can fill the spaces with new stuff!! 🙂 Right?  🙂

  1. I love these cards Chris, using both the positive and negative parts of your happy die is a great idea.

    I agree, sending cards out to forces abroad is a wonderful idea.
