Easter Blog Hop

March

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects with an Easter theme.
Don’t forget, sale-a-bration ends on March 31st! There is still time to earn free product with purchase or even join our Stampin’ Up! team. Ask any of the girls on the hop for more details.

This is my first Blog Hop with the Art With Heart group.
I haven’t taken part in a Blog Hop in a very long time, so this should be heaps of fun!
I have used the gorgeous Fable Friends stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue, along with the equally gorgeous Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper, to make a card and two cute little “Bag in a Box”.

Easter 1

Bunny has been coloured using ink pads and an aqua painter.

Easter 2

Here is bunny up close.

Easter 4

And the boxes are just so quick and easy to make, using the Envelope Punch Board.
Perfect for a few Easter eggs.
Easter 3

Now it’s time to hop on over to our next participant, the very talented, Tina Gillespie.

Sweet Treat Cup Bunnies

These cute little fellows are ready for the markets.  I have put a few small eggs inside the sweet treat cups since I took the photo, and they look very cute!

Again, they use mainly retired cardstock and DSP, along with lots of punched out shapes and layers.  They were a little bit time consuming, but heaps of fun to make.

Just a short post tonight as I still have a bit to do for the markets on Sunday.
Hope you have a crafty weekend.

Happy stamping!
Chris

Marion Indoor Markets

If you live in the Adelaide area, make sure you come along to the Marion Indoor Markets at the Marion Leisure Centre on Oaklands Rd, this Sunday, to check out all the goodies!

I have been busy making lots of Easter things to take to the markets to sell, including this really easy basket.  It just takes one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock, a few folds, some ribbon and decorate! Done!
For me, this has been an adventure in using up heaps of retired cardstock and DSP, so I hope to sell heaps.  Then I can buy more! That’s how it works, isn’t it? 🙂
So yes, this uses every thing retired, including the stamp set, ribbon, DSP and even the cardstock colour.  Never mind, you get the idea and you could always make one using current stuff.

Happy stamping, and I’ll be back with more Easter ideas soon.
