My card this morning uses a combination of the sketch from the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge, which I have combined with the current Just Add Ink challenge of using Topography. This is my second entry in the Just Add Ink challenge but I wanted to show a completely different way of using script or lettering on your projects.
Here is the sketch:
I have kept my card very simple, and it really only took me a few minutes to make.
I have used a white card base, and separate white layer which I have run through the Big Shot with an embossing folder which came as a free gift with a magazine. Then I have lightly sponged some ink on the area I wanted highlighted, just using a sponge dauber. Then a couple of strips of patterned paper attached behind the white layer before adhere it to the card base. It’s a great way of using up some of those thin strips of patterned paper, or coloured cardstock, that we all manage to collect.

I love all of that fun texture on this card. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Your embossing looks amazing effective and very tactile. A very inspiring technique.
Oh, all these embossed words are simply fantastic. I love the effect of so much white with the texture. Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
