And in some extra exciting news, I am now a Design Team member for the wonderful digital designer Pattie Gomez from Pattie’s Creations. Such a huge honor to be chosen as part of her team. Thank you, Pattie!
This month’s challenge at Pattie’s Creations is to make a Father’s Day or Graduation project. I have chosen the Hang Thirty image for my project:
I printed the image onto white cardstock and then fussy cut around the edge and cut out all the little pieces so that the background would show through. The image has been coloured with Copic markers and stamped using the Be The Star stamp set from Stampin’ Up! The background was created by sponging some Pool Party ink around a cardboard mask cut from one the Word Bubbles Dies (now retired), and a layer of patterned paper from my stash for the water. And the sand is a thin layer of cork.
I hope you will join us this month at Pattie’s Creations.

What an amazing card, your design is awesome – I love the cork ‘sand’, it’d such a great idea.
Opps, I forgot to say congratulations.
This is so amazing! I am happy to have you on our design team at “Pattie’s Creations Design Challenge”. I love how you used my image called “Hang Thirty”. Welcome to our DT…
Awesome card! Love your design and colouring! Lovely images of the boards and patterns on them!
Welcome to our DT Chris!! That had to take some patience to cut out all the area between the fencing to show the background!! Using cork as the sand was such a clever idea.
