The new challenge at The Male Room, for the next fortnight, is a stash challenge. It’s time to use all that wonderful Washi Tape that we have in our stash – be as creative as you like. Just remember, your project must have a masculine feel. You can make a card, scrapbook page, tag, 3D project – just use Washi!!!!
My card uses a variety of different Stampin’ Up! Washi Tapes, in some lovely bright colours. The “happy” has been cut out of the black layer using one of the Dies from the Hello You Thinlits Dies. The Washi Tape is adhered to the layer below so that it shows through.
The “Birthday” word was stamped onto some white cardstock and cut out with the Word Window punch then layered onto some washi tape which was adhered to a strip of white cardstock and then the flags cut into the ends.
This is my final challenge as Guest Designer with the team at The Male Room, so a big thanks for having me along during May.

Fabulous use of washi, loving the bright colours. Been great having you as a Guest Designer, I’ve enjoyed seeing what you create.
I have the start of a great collection of Washi tapes but I hardly ever use them. Your card has given me some great ideas for how I could incorporate them into a design. Fab card Chris, lovely colour combination and great masculine card.
Love the Washi peeping through the word, it’s been great seeing your cards along side ours at TMR, thanks for joining us.
I absolutely love this – the Washi covered sentiment really pops against the black card. Thanks so much for being such a fab Guest Designer! xxx
Great use of the negative die and washi! It’s been a pleasure. Will see you as a player in the future~
Love the washi tape underneath the negative die cut, really creates a statement. Awesome Guest DT work, thanks so much for joining us for June.
Love how the die cut hello showcases the washi tape. Great idea!
