Yellow is one of those colours that I just don’t use very much, so this week’s colour challenge from Our Creative Corner wasn’t one of my favourites. But thought I would give it a go anyway. The colours are yellow, Kraft and White, so I have used Daffodil Delight which is probably my least used of all the colours. But I will admit that I quite like it in the combination used in our new DSP called Attic Boutique, which is the one I have used here.
I have also used the stamp set Field Flowers, and lots of paper piercing and “Faux stitching”. Now that I have my sewing machine up and organised I might start doing some real stitching on my cards!! 🙂
It is probably difficult to see in the photo, but I have also used some Crystal Effects on the main flower to give a bit more depth and shine.
Well, that’s it for today. Hope you have a crafty weekend.
Happy stamping, Chris.
This is such a pretty card and I just love the faux stitching!

Chris, I know that you said that yellow was an under-used color for you, but WOW! what a beautiful card! I love how you used the yellow as your main color and the kraft secondary. The crystal effects adds a wonderful touch, too!
thank you for playing along with us @ OCC, and I’m glad to gave this challenge a try! Hope to see more of your work, soon!
