I just had to have a go at this cute sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. So many possibilities with this one, but I wanted to keep it fresh and summery, even though we are already having some cooler Autumn weather here in Adelaide.
And I love this colour combination, it’s a bit of a favourite at the moment – Lucky Limade (yum), Calypso Coral (yum again), Wisteria Wonder (more yum), and Pool Party (absolutely definitely the yummiest!). It have also included one of the new Jelly Bean Brads which are available on the 1st April from the new Autumn / Winter catalogue. They are very cute!
The stamp set is Posy Punch which is a Hostess Set from the current main catalogue. Send me an email if you would like to know how you can get it for free.
Anyway, that’s me for today. It has been a pretty big day so I am off for some well earned rest.
Happy stamping!

Mojo Monday 233
Warning: This post contains materials that may prove to be highly addictive!
On the 1st of April the new Autumn / Winter Mini Catalogue from Stampin’ Up! will be released here in Australia, and I can tell you that it contains some of the most beautiful things ever! So I thought I would give you a bit of a sneak peek.
The card is also my entry for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.
The stamp set is called Apothecary Art. I have coloured the images using a combination of markers and blender pen.
I have also used the new Twitterpated DSP and Buttons. I have put one of the mini brads through the button to give the flower a centre, and have used some of the Seam Binding Ribbon. The other new item that I have used here is one of the set of Framelits Dies, also available on the 1st April. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous – I want it all! 🙂 But you have to wait…… unless you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator of course.
But feel free to contact me if you live in the Adelaide area and you would like to learn how to use the tools and gorgeous products I have shown you today.
Happy Stamping!
Chris

Sweet Treat Cup Bunnies
These cute little fellows are ready for the markets. I have put a few small eggs inside the sweet treat cups since I took the photo, and they look very cute!
Again, they use mainly retired cardstock and DSP, along with lots of punched out shapes and layers. They were a little bit time consuming, but heaps of fun to make.
Just a short post tonight as I still have a bit to do for the markets on Sunday.
Hope you have a crafty weekend.
Happy stamping!

Marion Indoor Markets
If you live in the Adelaide area, make sure you come along to the Marion Indoor Markets at the Marion Leisure Centre on Oaklands Rd, this Sunday, to check out all the goodies!
I have been busy making lots of Easter things to take to the markets to sell, including this really easy basket. It just takes one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock, a few folds, some ribbon and decorate! Done!
For me, this has been an adventure in using up heaps of retired cardstock and DSP, so I hope to sell heaps. Then I can buy more! That’s how it works, isn’t it? 🙂
So yes, this uses every thing retired, including the stamp set, ribbon, DSP and even the cardstock colour. Never mind, you get the idea and you could always make one using current stuff.
Happy stamping, and I’ll be back with more Easter ideas soon.
Chris
