Sketch Saturday #759

Hi and welcome back for the next Sketch Saturday sketch inspiration. Here is the new sketch.

I’m on a mission to get a heap of Christmas cards made this year, so for my Design Team card I have used some of the new A Little Bit Festive Mix and Match Specialty Designer Series Paper which includes some cute die cut images as well as the Christmas papers.

I have started with a cardbase in Cherry Cobbler cardstock, then a layer of Basic White Cardstock before adding the two different patterned papers, which are actually the same sheet of paper reversed. And the images are some of the die cuts that come with the papers, so this is a really quick and easy card to make.
The sentiment comes from the Trucking Along stamp set, which was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink, and then die cut with some of the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I have used a Corner Rounder punch which retired a long time ago, but I like to use still.

We love to see your take on our sketches so please share your projects with us on the Sketch Saturday blog.
Happy stamping,
Chris

Sketch Saturday #754

I have some exciting news to share with you today, I am honoured to have been accepted as a member of the Design Team for the Sketch Saturday Challenges, and today is my first post as a member of the Design Team.
This week’s challenge is to choose a previously used sketch, and I have chosen the one below, Sketch 555 from 2019.

I have used the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper as a focus for my card today, and the gorgeous butterfly from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set.

The butterfly has been coloured with Stampin’ Blends, in various pinks and purples.

I hope you will come and visit us at Sketch Saturday Challenges, and share your own version of the sketch, we love to see what you have come up with.
Happy stamping!
Chris
