Colouring with Blendabilities

Two posts in one day, what?????? 🙂
I know, however I just wanted to share some colouring that I have been doing today with my Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities.
I have been learning some new colouring techniques and today the lovely ladies at Kit and Clowder held a colour pallet competition, using this fabulous image from Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps.

I have used the Rich Razzleberry and Coastal Cabana Blendabilites, along with the Skin Tone Collection. The pearls in the corner have also been coloured with the Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities.

Hope you are having a crafty weekend.
Happy stamping!

Winter Fun

Firstly, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, whether you are in Australia and having a warm Christmas with lots of salads and cold desserts, or on the other side of the planet and enjoying some traditional Christmas food to warm you up, I hope it was a special day!

Today I am sharing with you a card that is something a little different for me, which I made for our Crafty Boots Winter Wonderland challenge.
I didn’t want to make another Christmas card, since Christmas is done for this year (although we are still getting through the leftovers, and playing with new toys!!), so I had a think about something fun to do in the snow.  Then I went searching for a digi image that I could colour, and here is the end result.

I have used my Blendabilities to colour this image from S.W.A.L.K.  Isn’t it just too cute?

So now you can join in with this challenge too, it doesn’t have to be just about Christmas! 🙂

CCC06

Creative Challenge Club‘s challenge No 6 this week, is a colour challenge to use the colours Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Basic Black and one other colour.

I have chosen Melon Mambo for my extra colour, only because I wanted to use my Blendabilities 🙂 well, ok, not the only reason, I also like the bright summery colours – winter is a bit dull here in Australia at present.

The gorgeous flowers on this card from one of the current Hostess Sets called I Like You (on page 237 of the Catalogue).  They are an outline stamp, so perfect for colouring!

On the note of Blendabilities, the remainder of the colours will be available to order this coming Friday (1st August 2014), so contact me if you would like to get some, or all of the gorgeous colours to play with! 🙂

Happy stamping!

Perfect Peacock

I am finding it very relaxing colouring with my Blendabilities, and still having a lot of fun with them.
So of course I had to colour this gorgeous peacock, called Perfect Peacock it is a single stamp which you will find on page 170 of the Catalogue.

I have kept the card nice and simple, so that the peacock is the feature, with just the card layers and some Candy Dots in the corners.
Not much more to say really 🙂 except if you haven’t tried Blendabilities yet, you definitely should!
