This week’s featured colour is the gorgeous Berry Burst, and I have had a lot of fun this week, combining Berry Burst with the Host stamp set Night of Flight, to create a number of projects. I shared some of those in my previous post, but here are some more, these two were some of the projects we made at a face to face Card class that I ran this morning.
Behind the stamped panel, there is some Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper which has been embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder, plus a small strip of Glorious Gingham in Berry Burst.
For both cards I have used a cardbase of Early Espresso, which I liked combined with Berry Burst.
My second card again uses some of the Glorious Gingham DSP, and this time we have used the two step stamping method, and I wanted a pop of a different colour, so have added some Azure Afternoon.
Here is the card open….

Christina, I’m sure your card class was a huge hit with these two wonderful cards. I love the effect of the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder in your first card and the extra pop of colour in your second card.

I’m a sucker for gingham, so I love that you’ve used it on your two cards. They are both fantastic!

Ooh, I do like Early Espresso paired with Berry Burst – it evokes thoughts of chocolate and berries! Love the inclusion of gingham paper in your designs, Christina. Such pretty cards.

Such pretty cards Christina and I am sure that your class participants would have loved to create. Who would have thought that Early Espresso would look so good with Berry Burst.

Well theres a stamp set I hadn’t noticed before now – both lovely cards, Christina. I love the Timeworn texture and the gingham papers, and the extra pop of blue, is very striking.

Hadn’t noticed this stamp before, I guess they are moths judging by the name. I like your cards especially the second one where the flap with moth comes over to fill the space. Neat colour choices too.

Early espresso looks fabulous with berry burst. Probably because it reminds me of chocolate. LOL
