Just Add Ink Christmas Challenge

Christmas in July, that is….  and it is most definitely cold enough here to be a white Christmas in July, in fact the snow has been forecast for the next day or two.  So what better to do, than stay warm with the fire going, and colour!
I have created a card for the current Just Add Ink challenge, using a gorgeous image I found on Pinterest.

The image is actually a colouring page, which I have reduced to card size.  Have you got in to all the adult colouring pages and books?  I have just started and am having so much fun with them, I find colouring very relaxing.
The image was printed on to some white blending cardstock, then coloured with Copic Markers.  I have simply mounted it straight on to some of the new heavier weight Stampin’ Up! Whisper White cardstock.

Stay warm, and happy stamping!
Chris

  1. What a wonderful idea, your colouring page has made a great Christmas card, and it is so cheerful and bright.

We are enjoying a very warm summer and I cannot imagine it being this hot at Christmas, I suspect I am getting old!

  2. I love colouring too, although I’m not nearly as good at it as I wish! You’ve created a fabulously colourful and fun Christmas card, Chris. Sounds like you had lots of fun too. Love it. Glad you could join the challenge at Just Add Ink this week.

So far the rain in Canberra has kept the temps mild, no snow just yet. Hope you’re keeping warm down the road a bit 🙂 x

  3. Its so funny Chris, I was just in a bookshop today with the kids (school holidays here in NZ) and in the front of the shop was a stand covered in all the new adult colouring books. The pages are amazing and I thought to myself, could I make one into card size?? Great minds think alike!! And I also saw they have monthly magazines as well full of the pages. Might just have to buy myself one once the kids have gone back to school……just for those chilly days inside…. Sorry, got off topic. Actually popped in to tell you how much I love your card, the colouring is brilliant and love the contrast of the blue background. Makes for a beautiful card and I’m so glad you shared it with us at Just Add Ink!!

  4. What a wonderful image – looks like it would have taken a long time to colour. I think it’s a very cheerful card. Chantell JAI
