I finally get to share my exciting news with the world!! I have been accepted back as part of the wonderful Design Team with The Male Room.
I was a member of this great team in the past and needed a break, but it is wonderful to have been accepted back and I look forward to lots of fun challenges coming your way.
So without further ado, lets get into the challenge, which is, to use a Silhouette on your project.
My card uses that typically Australian image of a Windmill. I love this stamp from Kaszazz, so many great masculine ideas for it.
For the background I have used some Distress Oxide inks, Vintage Photo, Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber. Distress Oxides are designed to react with water and are awesome for creating this type of background or watercolour effects. So much fun!!
You can check out the rest of the Design Team’s ideas for this challenge at The Male Room, and we look forward to seeing all of your projects.

Congrats on re-joining the team, Chris. Wishing you bundles of fun. I adore windmills and your card is a beauty. Your background and windmill look fabulous together. It was fun designing with you. Thank you for having me. Tracie =)
I love the color on this – and that windmill! ~ Cathy
Really lovely card, Chris. The ink blended background is just fabulous! And that silhouette is definitely perfect for the prompt!
Fab background to a great card, welcome back to TMR.
Such a beautiful background, love the depth of it, and love the water wheel as your silhouette, it makes a lovely scene. Good to have you on the Team at TMR.
