Last day of Sale-a-Bration

Last chance today to pick up some of the gorgeous free stuff that is available during Sale-a-Bration.  Lots of gorgeous stuff this year, it is hard to choose a favourite, but this cute little stamp set has to be one of them…..

It’s called Patterned Occasions and I think it is a really versatile set.  Just a simple set of cards, but the images are pretty cute!
If you would like to get this set for free, or any of the other products that are available, all you need to do is contact me today with your order and payment worth $100.  The order must be placed today, as these will not be available come tomorrow!  And for every $100 you spend you get 1 free product.  And there’s lots to choose from this year, stamp sets, papers, punches…….

Anyway, send me an email or give me a call.
Happy stamping!
Chris

Patterned Occasions

I couldn’t resist this gorgeous stamp set, called Patterned Occasions, mainly because of the cute little Ellie…. isn’t he gorgeous?
So I have spent some of my morning making up some thank you cards for my customers. I have also used the Sycamore Street papers – love the colours!

Don’t forget, you can also get this stamp set, and also the papers, during the Sale-a-Bration promotion, between now and the 22nd March.  You get one product free for every $100 spent, and there are heaps of lovely things that you can get free.  Love it!
Just send me an email if you would like to make the most of the Sale-a-Bration promotion, and place an order.

Sorry for the short post today, I am a little weary, having spent the weekend in Sydney.  Be back real soon with some yummy new stuff from the new catalogue (rubbing hands together!) :)
Happy stamping!
Chris

An exciting day!!

I have been so excited about today, the 1st February seems to have been a long time in coming, but finally it has arrived, with so many exciting things happening.
The most exciting news, for me anyway, is that I have once again signed up as a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up!  Such a wonderful company, and I have missed being part of it very much.

Today is also the day when you can start ordering from the gorgeous 2013 Seasonal Catalogue – sooooo much beautiful stuff in there!  Here is a link to it if you would like to browse.  If you would like a hard copy of the catalogue, just drop me an email with your address and I will get one out to you.

So, in honour of the new goodies available, and my new status as a demonstrator, I am offering free shipping  on any order over $40 placed between today (1st Feb 2013) and 5pm on Wed 6th Feb 2013 (within Australia only, please).  All orders also receive a free gift from me, and of course, if your order is over $100 you will also get to choose free product from this year’s Sale-a-Bration catalogue.

That’s enough of my excitement for one day, but I will be back to share some creativity with you really soon.  Happy stamping!
Chris

Scrapbooking again

Yes, I have finally started to do some scrapbooking again, after well over a year of being scrapbook-less.?.?..  either through complete lack of inspiration or just the need to do other things.
I have used a sketch challenge from Our Creative Corner for my scrapbook page today.  I think I will have to make a card using this sketch too!
I am doing a set of pages looking back on all of the things that we have been through, both positive and negative, over the past 12 months, so most of the journalling will be out of sight.
Once again I have used the Everyday Enchantment DSP for this page, and also the Fresh Vintage stamp set.

We are in the process of moving house at present, so there may be some gaps in blogging for a couple of weeks, but I intend to keep stamping and scrapping in between days of moving and cleaning, so I will try to keep posting my creations.
Happy stamping!
Chris
PS Here is the sketch:

“My Thoughts” Card

I am very happy to be able to tell you that the long spell of hot weather we have been having here is at an end, as of tomorrow.  And while it has given me an excuse to stay in doors in the middle of the day and do some stamping, it is starting to get to everyone.  So the cooler weather will be a relief.
And on top of that, kids are all back at school tomorrow.  For us homeschoolers, that means we get the parks, playgrounds, beaches and zoos etc back to ourselves, to visit without heaps of other people there.  They become “our” parks again :)  That’s not to say we avoid other people, but some things are just much more enjoyable when you can take your time, browse, play and just spend as much time as you want to without rushing and pushing.

Anyway, today’s card uses more of the Everyday Enchantment DSP, along with the Field Flowers stamp set, which is my absolute favourite set.  And I have used the Big Shot and Top Note Die (another favourite), along with some sponging and faux stitching.
I had best go and do some stamping while I have the chance – park day tomorrow!!
Happy stamping!
Chris

Everyday Enchantment

Firstly, let me wish all you Aussie’s a Happy Australia Day!
Just a quick post today, to share another card made with the gorgeous Everyday Enchantment papers.
Often, when I am lacking inspiration (which seems to be happening regularly at the moment) I go to the blog of the very talented Jenny Moors, Stamping Moments.  Jenny does some fantastic and very reasonably priced stamp classes, and when I need that bit of inspiration, I buy one of her classes and just follow along with her instructions.  Most of the time, it gets me back into the flow of things.
So, this particular card is part of her Fresh Vintage stamp class, although as often happens with me, not quite exactly the same!
So thank you Jenny, for your ongoing inspiration.
The card uses the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set and of course, the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Papers, both available from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue.
Happy Stamping!
Chris

Sale-a-Bration is here!

This time of year is always exciting for us in the Stampin’ Up! family, because it’s Sale-a-Bration time!  Every year, Stampin’ Up! bring out a range of new goodies that are only available during the Sale-a-Bration promotion, and they are always gorgeous, however I do think this year they have done especially well.  Not only lovely stamps, but papers and accessories too (rubbing hands together) – love it!

You may have noticed that I like my patterned papers – just a little bit.  Ok, if you must know, I am completely addicted to them, and have rather a large stash. However, I am determined to use them!

So, what about this paper, isn’t it just gorgeous?  I love the old-fashioned look about it and the combination of colours.  It’s called “Everyday Enchantment”, and like the co-ordinating stamp set (“Fresh Vintage”), it is exclusive to the Sale-a-Bration promotion, so won’t be available after 31st March.
The colours are Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, and a touch of Peach Parfait.
I have used the Finial Press and Designer Frames Embossing folders, and just masked off the edge of the oval frame to make sure the inked image stayed inside the oval.  The stamp was inked with markers, and the edges of both ovals sponged with some Poppy Parade ink to give the edges some definition.

If you would like to know more about how you can get yourself some of these gorgeous but exclusive products, feel free to contact me and I’ll give you the details.  dotdotstamping@gmail.com
In the meantime, happy stamping!
Chris

Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

It’s time for another blog hop from the ESAD (Extremely Special Aussie Demonstrators) group, this time to celebrate the start of Sale-a-bration. And this time we have even more blogs taking part, which means more ideas and more inspiration for you. So I hope you have fun on your way around.
My project today is a Scrapbook page using the Vintage Labels Stamp Set. I wanted to do a page in a “vintage” style, and have used a masking technique to create a border with the stamp. I will be adding a small journalling block underneath the photo, but I like to keep my journalling a little private, so you don’t get to see that bit! :)

Stamp Sets: Vintage Labels (Only available during Sale-a-bration), Baroque Motifs.

Cardstock: Basic Black, Naturals Ivory, Belle Bleu Designer Series Paper.

Inks: Basic Black Classic Ink and Marker

Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, Sponge Dauber, Black Brads from Vintage Brads.

Sale-a-Bration Starts Tomorrow!!

Sale-a-bration is always an exciting time of year in the Stampin’ Up! world.  For those of you who haven’t heard of Sale-a-bration before, each year Stampin’ Up! bring out a range of exclusive Stamp Sets which are not available for purchase and will not be available in any of their catalogues.  The only way you can get hold of them is by earning them.
This year there are four different sets, and it is pretty easy to earn them.  All you need to do is to purchase $100 worth of product from the Idea Book and Catalogue and/or current mini catalogue, and you get to choose one of the Sale-a-bration sets absolutely free.

So, how do you make the most of Sale-a-bration?  This is a really good time to stock up on some of your cardstock, papers, ribbons, anything that you can see you are starting to get low on.
And have a look at your wish list.  Find one stamp set that you really want, and just say that it is around $40, add a pack of Whisper White or Very Vanilla Cardstock ($13.50), and a pack of cardstock in one colour combination (maybe Rich Regals – $14.50) , perhaps an ink pad or a couple of markers ($12 approx), then make sure you have enough adhesive, so you might need another roll of Sticky Strip ($12.95) and some glue dots ($9.50), and there we go, one free Sale-a-bration Stamp Set coming your way!
If you would like a free copy of the Sale-a-bration brochure, please contact me with your address and I will send one out to you.  Or you can see it by clicking here.

And now for the other exciting news.  To celebrate the start of Sale-a-bration, the ESAD Australian Demonstrators group will again be holding a blog hop.  So make sure you come back tomorrow to have a look at all the gorgeous and clever projects the girls have come up with featuring the Sale-a-bration stamp sets.  It is sure to be a heap of fun, inspiration and new ideas.
So,until tomorrow, happy stamping!
Chris
